Best of 2021 Wedding Photography

2021 was pretty special, but it came out of difficulty. Almost a year of cancelled 2020 weddings happening amongst my regular bookings for the year and for the vast majority of these couples the wait had been hard. The uncertainty, the doubt, maybe lost suppliers and lost deposits. 2020 was crap. Getting excited for the day became increasingly difficult, and plans had to be changed sometimes the day before, some questioned if it would ever happened.

But then it did!

And it was glorious.

All of the worry and hardship was left in the dust on the morning of the day. Couples were more excited that ever, families cried when seeing each other again for the first time and friends partied like.. well like they hadn’t partied in a year. Everyone was just that little bit more appreciative and I’m not ashamed to say that as the couple walked down the aisle on my first wedding in April, they danced and I cried. It would be a push to say it was all worth it but 2021 will be a year I’ll never forget and served as an important reminder to appreciate how special weddings, relationships, family, friends and this job is.

Now enjoy!
