Ravello Wedding Photographer
Ravello wedding photographers are extremely lucky, set 365 meters above the Tyrrhenian Sea on Italy’s Amalfi Coast you could hardly ask for a better location to photograph a wedding. Add to that it’s famous 13th-century architecture with cliffside gardens earning it a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and you really do have a dream location to capture a ceremony.
Wedding Venues
Couples looking to get married in Ravello are lucky too however as it boasts has some of the best venues in Italy if not the world. These include Belmond Hotel Caruso, Villa Cimbrone and Villa Eva among others. I can tell you from experience that each of them have truly breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and in every case either your ceremony, reception or both will share those vistas. Of course all of these factors mean the opportunity for stunning photos is immense.
Options for photos
Some couples prefer a little solitude to take in the views of the coast, while others love the idea of walking through the Piazza with Villa Ruffolo’s beautiful Rococo features in the background. Perhaps even grabbing some of the tastiest Gelato you’ve ever had along the way! The options are endless but whatever you choose I’d love to be there to capture every moment, in a natural yet stunning style. Please enjoy my photos below and if you think I’d be a good fit for your wedding day I’d love to hear from you.
More about my photography
Personally I want to provide the best wedding photography that Italy’s ever seen, but most of all I want you to enjoy your wedding day and that means letting you! Photos really don’t have to be posed or staged, if you’re having the time of your life then the images will show that. Don’t get me wrong I sometimes think it’s helpful to guide you to a certain stunning location or suggest little bits, but most of the time I can use a telephoto lens to capture you from a distance and you really can relax.
More about Villa Eva in Ravello
As a wedding photographer Villa Eva‘s a dream venue in a dream location. The highest point in all of Ravello (already half an hour’s bus ride up the mountain from Amalfi) it boasts some of the best views in the world. Now that’s a bold claim, but if you don’t believe me take it up with American writer Gore Vidal.
You can have your ceremony and in the vibrant garden at the front or terrace at the rear overlooking the coast, both provide a wonderfully romantic atmosphere. After eating canapes under the Italian sun you can nip away from your guests down beautiful little side streets to nearby views, or climb the steps to the roof of the venue where the magic really happens. Some of my favourite photos ever were taken up here and the views stretching down the coast are worth taking a moment to appreciate. From there you can eat, drink and be merry underneath their open or closed top marquee, and then the partying can go on into the night outside until 12pm or inside until 2am!
