“We’ve seen many great wedding pictures before, we’ve seen beautiful shots before, but when we got our wedding pictures back from Joab we were really blown away! One word: WOW!…. Just WOW!!! Looking through our pictures allows us to relive our day all over again because Joab did such a good job with capturing the emotions, the events, the details while keeping in mind the surroundings and somehow managed to put that all in a still image. His eye for symmetry, composition, framing and light is just amazing and we really like his artistic touches. The pictures looks straight out of a magazine and we get so many compliments. It was such a pleasure to work with him, from the first time we spoke to him to when we were putting together the wedding album. He really listened to what we wanted, was very patient, asked important questions and also really helped us with planning the day. What an amazing photographer. We could not reccomend Joab Smith more as our photographer for our wedding last month, he was incredible. Every moment was captured… even when we didnt know he was there! We were emotional looking through our pictures because it felt like we were there on the day all over again. His style was relaxed and happy and just the way we wanted our photos, We could not be happier. He was very good at guiding us without being pushy, had a laugh with us and stayed out the way at points too… I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Joab to any couples planning on getting married. When searching for a wedding photographer in the area, Joab’s work was the only one that I really really loved so we were ecstatic when he was free for our date. He’s great to work with, as he’s super relaxed and good fun. We’re not keen on poses, and we just wanted Joab to do what he was good at – taking natural shots and capturing those moments that we might miss – so we really appreciated that despite keeping us in the loop about what he was doing, that he’d also do his own thing and go where he thought the best shots would be. We’ve had great feedback on the photos, particularly from the parents of our flower girl and goddaughter, who was not keen on photos, but Joab managed to get some fantastic shots of her. Joab is professional and brilliant at what he does, and we would recommend him to absolutely anybody.

Joab was a pleasure to deal with from the outset. Friendly, helpful and very professional, we had a lovely initial meeting to discuss options and style and everything followed perfectly from there. Joab was prompt and easy to contact at all times in the build up and happy to answer any questions we had.
On the big day itself Joab was an absolute star. Friendly and polite throughout, he made a great impression among the guests.
